Bodegas Arzuaga - Laderas del Norte 2017
Bodegas Arzuaga - Laderas del Norte 2017
Laderas del Norte from Arzuaga is made from organically grown grapes picked on the Valdesardon estate belonging to the Arzuaga Navarro family. This is the most westerly vineyard in the DO Ribera del Duero at an altitude of 800 m (2,600 ft), in the municipality of Olivares de Duero. Chalky clay-sloping land has a great effect on the characteristics of the wine.

Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Medium high intensity, clean and bright where the cherry red color predominates with purple ashes. Fresh and elegant wine, with an easy and balanced entry into the mouth leaving sensations of meatiness and volume in the passage through it. Slightly sweet and toasted notes and a pleasant and balanced afertaste where we
recall all the fruity tones detected in the olfactory phase.

The Arzuaga winery is in Valladolid, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. The wines come from La Planta, an estate belonging to the Arzuaga family in Quintanilla de Onésimo, in the province of Valladolid. This is an excellent location for vine-growing, as the plants receive the sun and moisture they need for the grapes to ripen perfectly.
